MINUTES March 5, 1998 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "If there is a need to acquire safety equipment we need to inform <br /> the Selectmen right away." <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Ad-Hoc Committee Meeting for Plum Containment <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "The D.E.P. has determined that the town will not be liable for <br /> hazardous waste found at the LF4 site." "They indicated that the military will be the ones <br /> held responsible." "We're trying to obtain an estimate for the cubic yards of this material <br /> that has to be' hauled and landfilled." "Weston & Sampson has been contacted." "Roger <br /> Alcott did come down and survey the area with Elias." "We are supposed to receive his <br /> faxed report tomorrow in regards to the amount, then from there we can determine if <br /> there is going to be any additional costs as far as landfill over and above the estimated <br /> amount." "We were hoping we could have this information for the Selectmen's meeting <br /> Monday." "I spoke with the Executive Secretary who stated he received a call from Dave <br /> Ellis who relayed that the town of Mashpee does not want to miss the opportunity to get <br /> the site cleaned up." <br /> r .Repair Certification - 27 Briar Patch Road and 9 Marw <br /> Emergency Re a� av <br /> 27 Briar Patch Road - Mr. Evans relayed, "I inspected the site and found the leach pit <br /> overflowing." <br /> Board members forwarded their signature's to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> 9 MFarway - 'Mr- Evans relayed, "I inspected the site and found the leach pit filled to the <br /> top. <br /> Board members forwarded their signature's to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification"form. <br /> Being no further business Mr. Doherty motioned to adjourn this meeting at 7:37 p.m., Mr. <br /> Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Veronica Mayer, Adm.
