TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> March 12, 1998 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball, John T. Doherty and Robert F. Cram, Sr. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) Mr. Cram motioned to accept the minutes of February 26, 1998, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3.) Food Establishment Permit Application Mashpee Natural Food Ctr. - Mr. Evans <br /> relayed, "This is a health food store, the applicant proposes to sell only packaged items." <br /> "I recommend approval." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant a 1998 Retail Food Permit to Mr. John L. Paparo <br /> d/b/a"Mashpee Natural Food Center", Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4.) Special Permit Application_ Harwich Concrete - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a <br /> business and as with most businesses in town hire a private hauler to provide a dumpster <br /> at the site." "It is not household trash." "We do follow the same rules as the surrounding <br /> towns." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to deny the request for a Transfer Station/Landfill residential <br /> sticker, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 5.) SeptaQe lagoon project closure (F Y L) - Acknowledged. <br /> 6.) Your Summer Safety Fair May 2 1998 - Acknowledged. <br /> 7.) Copy of bi-monthly landfill/transfer station inspection - Mr. McQuaid relayed <br /> "When D.E.P. informed us that we were in violation of the consent order we did contact <br />
