MINIUTES March 12, 1998 <br /> 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "The variance relief sought in the letter does not match plans <br /> submitted." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to deny the variances requested based on incomplete plans, <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 421 Monomoscoy Road - Mr. McQuaid stated, "Monitoring wells were installed to <br /> establish definitive groundwater elevation and with the monitored groundwater elevation <br /> they have a separation of 4.5' which meets the minimum code of Title V." "Preferably <br /> Title V says 5' but in this instance considering the fact that this is an existing three <br /> bedroom dwelling and they are volunteering to upgrade it and they are installing a pump <br /> system to get that separation, I feel that the Board should be inclined to grant a variance <br /> of.5'." <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant a .5' variance from the regulation which requires <br /> 5' of naturally occurring permeable soil between the bottom of the leaching facility and <br /> groundwater, a 38' local variance from the proposed on-site leaching facility to abutting <br /> well (#425 Monomoscoy Road) and a 24' local variance from the proposed on-site <br /> leaching facility to abutting well (#419 Monomoscoy Road), Mr. Cram seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> 10.)
