MINUTES February 4, 1999 11 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Bauer ended, "As we got further in to solid waste issues, it becomes more of a <br /> public matter for it's going to be important to have answers". "If you are not <br /> looking down the road it is going to be a problem". "Can you honestly tell me <br /> you have been looking down the road beyond 2 or 3 years?" "You will probably <br /> say you haven't, no one has". "Our industry has looked way down the road, 10 to <br /> 15 years and making adjustments now". Thank you for your time". <br /> Mr. Cram thanked Mr. Bauer for coming in. <br /> 5) Revised Plans - 35 Santuit Lane - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This system includes a <br /> fast denitrification unit and a 2000 gallon tank but I will not issue a permit until I <br /> get an affidavit from the owner that she understands that should that house be sold <br /> or goes year round, denitrification will be installed". <br /> Ms Mayer stated, "I spoke with Mrs. Greenberg and she does not want to do that". <br /> Mr. Cram noted, "No permit then". <br /> Mr. McQuaid added, "Anything that requires a building permit will require a fast <br /> system". <br /> Mr. Doherty stated after reviewing the plans, "This isn't adequate". "Have Mr. <br /> Slavinsky add a general note, call it #9 modified to read, system is designed to <br /> accept the installation of micro-fast denitrification system should any <br /> changes be made to the dwelling,I was clear on that and he did not include it". <br /> Board members agreed to request Mr. Slavinsky's attendance at an upcoming <br /> meeting to discuss the matter. <br /> *****NEW BUSUINESS***** <br /> Annual Report <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I finalized the annual report and if it's okay with <br /> everyone, I'll submit it. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to approve the 1998 Annual Town Report as prepared by Mr. <br /> McQuaid, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Residential Kitchen Permit <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, " I have received an application for a Bakery permit from <br /> Ms. Charlene Martinez d/b/a Pastry Chef." "It use to be the Catumet Fish Market <br /> at Deer Crossing". "I recommend to the Board that we approve this license <br /> pending my final inspection". <br />
