Motion passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT Down Cape Engineering: 66 Nick Trail <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance of 15'from the existing well at 69 Nick Trail <br /> to the proposed septic system and a variance from 5' to 4'to the adjusted high <br /> ground water. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "There's no reserve on this plan. That's another variance <br /> the Board should also look at." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant the variance of 15'from the existing well at 69 Nick <br /> Trail to the proposed septic system, a variance of l'from the adjusted high <br /> ground water, and to have no reserve required. Mr. Cram seconded the motion. <br /> All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 2. Letters to N. Caffyn & R. Kalaghan re: DEP invoices <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> 3. Request for Proposals ad <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "This was faxed to us by Weston & Sampson. They are <br /> ready to put the final touches on it, but they would like you to approve this ad <br /> to go into the paper as is. It should go into the paper next week." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to accept the Request for Proposals/Request for <br /> Qualifications prepared by Weston & Sampson for the operation and <br /> maintenance of the Mashpee Transfer Station and maintenance of the Closed <br /> Mashpee Sanitary Landfill. Mr. Cram seconded the motion. All in favor. <br /> Motion passed. Mr. Cram also authorized Weston & Sampson to publish the <br /> Request for Proposals/Request for Qualifications in the Dodge Report, Central <br /> Register and local newspapers. <br /> 4. Variance request: 26 Huron Avenue <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance for the installation of a septic system within <br /> 150' of neighboring wells. <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I'm not comfortable with this. We don't know where the wells <br /> are and these are very small lots." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "We've got to have more information on the existing well <br /> locations." <br /> Mr. McQuaid added, "More homework to be done on this plan." <br />
