MINUTES April 5, 2001 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Dinger went on to say that the regulation would come down to a decision by the <br /> citizens of the town of Mashpee. He also stated that the survey that was recently sent <br /> out to residents is being compiled and the results will become available on April 12, <br /> 2001. <br /> Mashpee resident Martine Meijering asked Mr. Dinger if the Cape Cod Regional <br /> Tobacco Control Program hadn't "intruded", would the article have been put on the <br /> town meeting warrant. Mr. Dinger felt that others would have put it on the warrant if <br /> the CCRTCP hadn't written it. <br /> Mr. Santos expressed his dismay with the way that the article submission has taken <br /> place. He stated that if the Board of Health has to enforce the regulation, they should <br /> be the ones to create it. Mr. Dinger countered by saying that timing was an issue due <br /> to when the 'deadline is for article submission to the Town Clerk's office. <br /> Mr. Doherty expressed his disappointment in the number of concerned residents <br /> turning out for the meeting. <br /> Mr. Ball polled Board members who agreed that the Board would not take a vote on <br /> this issue at this time. <br /> 1.
