MINUTES April 26, 2001 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> within Zone II recharge areas. He further stated that the flow goes out to <br /> Nantucket Sound and doesn't affect the groundwater. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the variance request as presented by Mr. <br /> Grotzke. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion to deny passed. <br /> 4. Variance request - 11 Starboard Lane <br /> The applicant is requesting a variance of 2.5' from the proposed soil absorption <br /> system to both side property lines and a variance of 49' from the proposed sol <br /> absorption system to the existing well of house #14. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the variances as requested in a cover letter from <br /> Cape & Islands Engineering dated April 12, 2001. Mr. Santos seconded the <br /> motion. Motion passed. <br /> Variance request - 58 Bearse Road <br /> The applicant is requesting a variance of 5' from the proposed soil absorption <br /> system to the rear property line, a variance of 3' from the proposed septic tank <br /> to the basement and a variance of 6' from the soil absorption system to the <br /> basement. <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to grant the variances as outlined in a cover letter from <br /> Cape & Islands Engineering dated April 12, 2001 with the stipulation that the <br /> exterior of the foundation be seal coated. Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> 5. Request for Food Establishment Permit - Dunkin' Donuts <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the request for a food establishment permit for <br /> Dunkin' Donuts at Brickyard Marketplace based on their past practice of <br /> abandonment of their previous permit. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. <br /> Motion to deny passed. <br /> Board members directed Ms. Warden to request a representative of Dunkin' <br /> Donuts to attend the next Board meeting to discuss their new food <br /> establishment permit and past practices. <br /> 6. Request for installation of I/A system (FAST) - 15 Nehoiden Road <br /> The applicant is requesting approval to install a Micro-Fast denitrification unit <br /> at 15 Nehoiden Road. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the request as submitted in a cover letter dated <br /> Aprill 12, 2001 from Cape & Islands Engineering. Mr. Santos seconded the <br /> motion. Motion passed. <br /> 7. Emergency Failure Certification - 53 Cranberry Avenue <br /> Health Consultant Charlotte Stiefel indicated that the leach pit was full to the <br /> top. (Ms. Stiefel to make recommendations on repair) <br />
