MINUTES March 29, 2001 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 4. AFCEE agreement with BOH re: Sampling of John's and Ashument Ponds 2001 <br /> (Chairman signature required) <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the water sampling agreement for <br /> weekly VOC sampling of John's pond. <br /> 5. Invoice from Weston & Sampson re: drainage improvements for transfer station <br /> Board members agreed to forward the invoice to the Board of Selectmen for <br /> their review. <br /> APPOINTMENT• Tanya Copestick re: illegal dumping <br /> Ms. Copestick was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that the trash was found on Noisy Hole Road in Mashpee, which is <br /> a common location for illegal dumping. Ms. Copestick's mail was found in the trash. <br /> Ms. Copestick stated that she has Stevie DeBarros pick up her trash twice a week and <br /> that she would have no reason to throw her trash in the woods. <br /> Discussion took place regarding the location of the trash, the trash found and possible <br /> explanations for the trash being dumped on Noisy Hole Road. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated that there is no explanation for the trash being dumped, however <br /> someone needs to be responsible for it. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to continue this item for two weeks and to have Mr. DeBarros <br /> attend the next meeting with Ms. Copestick. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion <br /> to continue passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Arlene Wilson re: 1 Waterline Drive North <br /> Ms. Wilson was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Ms. Wilson presented revised plans for 1 Waterline Drive North. Ms. Warden stated <br /> that she wants to see all distances delineated on the plans. She also stated that the <br /> plans do not show the pump that is stated in the cover letter to the Board dated <br /> March 21, 2001. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the plans pending receipt of acceptable revised plans <br /> and a quarterly monitoring agreement for the Microfast unit. Mr. Santos seconded the <br /> motion. Motion passed. <br /> 6. FYI: Response from Stetson Hall to PAVE PAWS Steering Group Members <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> 7. Mashpee BOH resolution to form PAVE PAWS Adv. Comm (Board signatures <br /> required) <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to agree to form a PAVE PAWS Advisory Committee. Mr. <br /> Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. Board members forwarded their <br /> signatures to the resolution. <br />
