TOWN OF MASHPEE
DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
April 23 , 1997
The Design Review Committee met at 6 : 30 p.m. on Wednesday,
April 23 , 1997 at Mashpee Town Hall, Conference Room #1 .
Committee Members Present: William Hauck, Ex Officio;
Tony Ferragamo, Chairman; Ed Govoni; and Thomas F. O'Hara.
All Star Ticket (Sound Realty Mashpee Rotary) Sian Approval
Mr. Fred Fitzgerald proposed converting the sandwich sign into
two permanent signs . One would be attached to the building
and a second one at the entrance, set back a distance of
3-5 feet.
The proposed sign on the building is too big and would require
a special permit if it remains the same. Mr. Fitzgerald
agreed he would cut the size down .and thereby eliminate the
need to go to the Board of Appeals .
There does not appear to be any consistency of signage around
the rotary at the present time. Eventually, signage will be
cleared up to enhance the appearance of the rotary. The two
signs, as adjusted, will be allowed. Mr. Fitzgerald said he
will cooperate fully with future sign plans .
Other
Mr. Ferragamo noted he will no longer be the Planning Board
appointee to this board.
The Honey Dew site is not in compliance with the proposed
plan; Cook' s Restaurant cleared too many trees .
Adjournment: 6:50 p.m.
NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING: Wednesday, May 14, 1997
Respectfully submitted,
- b,-a 4it
Jane A. Pierce,
Recording Secretary
