They did not! <br /> • Mary made several suggestions: stagger plantings rather than just lining plantings up; moving shrubs <br /> where they'll do more good; look for more drought tolerant trees; spend money putting plantings where <br /> they do most good. <br /> • Building: Difference between first set of drawings presented for review and second set of drawings, the <br /> building size increased by 40%. <br /> • Mr. Bornstein said he does not feel Cape Cod Commission will have any concern with building height: <br /> • Walter explained that one of the things Design Review does is try to work with aesthetics. One issue is <br /> that it looks like a train. It is over-powering on this size lot. <br /> •. Mr. Bornstein said they would address breaking up the building,but that the height is the height. <br /> • Tom commented that it is a big building, but it has to be attractive. Mr. Bornstein said he would talk to <br /> designers and see what they can do to make it more attractive. . <br /> • Design Review Committee unanimously voted they would not approve what was presented. <br /> • Lee stated that her major concern is that the project is so different from what was reviewed by Cape Cod <br /> Commission. She said this proposal is substantial difference from what was approved. <br /> Conclusion: Not approved. Need Grading Plan and Landscape Plan,which can be on one Plan. <br /> Applicant will bring another set of Site and Building Plans.
