Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday, June 8, 2006 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara,Lee Gurney,Robert <br /> Nelson,Mary LeBlanc, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Summary <br /> • Signage—Center Street,A Lovely Dance Studio— Stamped approved with <br /> the condition the length of the sign not exceed the size of the window with <br /> shutters. <br /> • McShane Construction Co. — Site visit scheduled for June 15`s at 8:30 a.m. <br /> The main concern was what grading the buffer between the lots would do <br /> to the front buffer. <br /> • Duck Pond Limited Partnership—The site engineering plans did not match <br /> architectural plans. To return with correct sets of plans. <br /> Sins <br /> A Lovely Dance Studio located at 2 Center Street—Mike Day represented the sign <br /> request. The sign is to be mounted on a bracket, color is black and white not externally <br /> lit. Walter suggested that the length of the sign on the building not to exceed the length <br /> of the window with shutters. The signs could be made taller but not longer. Walter made <br /> notations on the plan for locations on the buildings and it was stamped approved. Any <br /> additional signs for tenants should be of the same length. <br /> Site Plan and Landscape Review <br /> McShane Construction Co. <br /> 240-342 Main Street <br /> Kenmark Office Systems/Warehouse/Mercantile/Storage <br /> Kevin Kirrane appeared. Following comments/issues discussed: <br /> The Planning Board approved this project but has left it for the committee to make <br /> whatever recommendation it felts necessary to the landscape and building plans. It was <br /> noted that there are plans for an historic district and this parcel would be in that district. <br /> The buffer between this lot and the next was discussed in detail, because these are two <br /> separate lots a twenty-foot buffer must be maintained. One side is a comprehensive 40B <br /> PJ <br /> ro'ect and the other a commercial site. <br />
