Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Y Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,July 13,2006 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara,Lee Gurney, Robert Nelson, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Absent: Mary LeBlanc <br /> Summary <br /> Procuts, South Cape Village- Stamped approved. <br /> • Capeway Cleaners, South Cape Village—Stamped approved. <br /> • Lovely Dance Studio—Stamped approved. <br /> • McShane Construction Co.—Approved subject to conditions: (1)They extend retaining wall up another inch;(2) <br /> buffer either has to have snow fence or be staked and ribboned off before clearing so Town can come out and look <br /> at property before clearing; and(3)tree expert's report to be sent to Town Hall; and any trees removed must be <br /> replaced in kind and quantity. Minimum size caliper to be 3";evergreens to be 6-10'minimum. <br /> • Senior Housing Development—Approved with letter to Board of Selectmen and to Board of Appeals attached <br /> noting Design Review recommendations to decrease buffer from 100 feet to 75-feet at Falmouth Road and 50 feet <br /> for the rest of the property;to see some areas left as green grass areas for recreational purposes;and to clear and <br /> landscape area in front of building to offer more visibility but in clearing front selectively keep trees to make it <br /> look more naturally vegetated. <br /> • Design Review will send to Town. <br /> Duck Pond Limited Partnership—Approved subject to conditions m letter D gn o <br /> These conditions include: Building Department must be notified prior to any clearing otherwise applicant will be <br /> in violation of the permit;buffer either has to have snow fence or be staked and ribboned off before clearing; and <br /> Applicant to go back to Cape Cod Commission. Applicant has not yet applied for signage. <br /> • Cape Cod Free Clinic&Community Health Center—Not approved. Pat White to schedule a meeting July 28 for <br /> Applicant and Design Review to meet with Tom Fudala(Town Planner)and Greg Taylor(DPW)to discuss the <br /> many issues that are a problem using the back lot site proposed, which could be dealt with if front lot property <br /> were used. <br /> •. 70 Nicoletta's Way—No action.
