!j Mashpee Design Review Committee ✓ � Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,March 23,2006 Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara,Lee Gurney,Robert Nelson,Mary LeBlanc, and Richard Stevens. Summary • Ayoub Engineering,Mobil Oil Corporation—Signage on car wash and store buildings approved with condition that bands on both buildings be same 2X6 size panels. Also approved submitted changed panel on existing ID pole sign; new, proposed illuminated ID sign not approved and Design Review will write a letter stating that new illuminated ID pole sign not approved. • Clover Courtyard—Not approved. Needs site plan showing where directory sign being placed, including landscape plan and proposed lighting, if any, and must conform to each law. • 70 Nicoletta's Way-Not approved. Needs to submit revised Plan and also Building Plan. May want to show signage location and site lighting on submitted plan. • Duck Pond Limited Partnership—Not approved. Need Grading Plan and Landscape Plan, which can be on one Plan. Applicant will also bring another set of Site and Building Plans. Plans to be reviewed must be submitted one week before meeting date. . Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. Walter provided everyone with a co of rY PY listing of Design Review Concerns that are addressed at each review. Copy of the list is attached to the printed set of these minutes. Ayoub Engineering Mobil Oil Corporation 548 Falmouth Road ti Alan Micale, Ayoub Engineering, appeared and showed several elevations and stated: • Fascia on car wash building would be white panel and have gooseneck lighting. He said 36 square foot signage would be allowed,but they are proposing under 20 square feet. • Sign over store would be just over 12 square feet and have gooseneck lighting. • Showed photo of existing ID sign on 15' high pole and also photo of changes proposed to existing sign. Also submitted photo of proposed replacement with illuminated sign. Design Review informed Mr. Micale that to replace and reface existing ID sign, ZBA approval is necessary. However to leave existing sign and reface and replace ID sign as shown in photo would not require ZBA approval. Mr. Micale requested Design Review to write aletter to this effect, which Design Review Committee said they would do. Conclusion: Signage on car wash and store buildings approved with condition that bands on both buildings be same 2X6 size panels. Also approved submitted changed panel on existing ID pole sign; new, proposed illuminated ID sign not approved and Design Review will write a letter stating that new illuminated ID pole sign not approved.
