Christine said they are looking to compete with
other gyms. They are looking to have a site that is newer; brighter; and more active.
• Will be for members.
• At peak times they estimate about 5 to 10 at the gym at any given time.
• Tom O'Hara commented that he looked at the parking issue and his only concern was the side
entrance if that is used as an entrance. John Patrick Minerella said if they don't have enough
parking in the front then they'll park in the back.
• They will have video and lights for security and at side may require a walkway.
• Owners John Patrick and Christine will be there daily and plan to staff the facility at least
initially.
• A "hot line" emergency button is on the exercise machine and a welcome kiosk in the center of
the floor would have a phone directed to 911. Also, necklace for member to put on for
emergency would be available. A red button on the wall to push in emergency is something
Sheldon said he would be looking for as well. Applicants said they believe they have that.
• They are not doing any tanning operation.
