The Committee has <br /> received a letter from the Elias McQuid of the Board of Health (attached <br /> herewith) to be included in the guide booklet. Jamie had some concerns <br /> about the Board of Health letter, stating that it was not specific enough. <br /> Tom reiterated that the whole purpose of the book is to direct people, who <br /> know nothing, to the individual departments to get what they need. <br /> Sid presented the Committee with information (attached herewith) regarding <br /> Town of Mashpee Procedures for Development or Prospective <br /> Commercial/Industrial Entities that would Apply to Property Owners or <br /> Lessees. One of the objectives is to have people come to the individual <br /> departments listed before going to the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> Tom,suggested that the Mashpee Fire Department be contacted to see if they <br /> want to add anything to the guide book regarding special hazardous <br /> conditions, chemicals, sprinklers and alarms for businesses. Nelson <br /> suggested that fire hydrant locations might be helpful information for book. <br /> Tom thought fire, police, conservationists, and public works should be <br /> contacted to see what they can add to the guide book. <br /> Sid presented the Committee with a document relating to demographics for <br /> the town of Mashpee from Tom Fudala's office, gleaned from Cape Trends, <br /> 1994. Sid,suggested that it could be printed in a separate book and offered for <br /> sale. Tom suggested that some of the information could possibly be used for <br /> the book. <br /> Sid and Jamie recommended some graphic designers who might want to <br /> work on the book.
