She informed the <br /> Committee members that there is to be an entirely new budget <br /> forthcoming . Chairman Blythe noted that a concern of the <br /> Committee was the control of maintenance of beaches and the <br /> recreation grounds and ballfields . Executive Secretary <br /> Murphy joined the meeting and noted that the $10 , 000 cut from <br /> the DPW Grounds Maintenance Account would go in to a separate <br /> account called Facilities Maintenance in the Park and Rec <br /> budget . The money would be moved from one budget to another . <br /> As of July 1 , Wendy would no longer be able to call on the DPW <br /> for help with grounds maintenance on the beaches , rec grounds <br /> or ballfields . Murphy noted that this is a new concept in <br /> maintenance and the DPW would not be available to her as of July 1 . <br /> Wendy stated that there is to be a new operating and capital <br /> budget . Finance Committee members will wait until the new <br /> budget is available to review. <br /> Chairman Blythe , noted that Louise Berman of the Conservation <br /> Commission has requested a hearing with the Finance Committee <br /> regarding the Board Secretary salary for FY88 . Conservation <br /> requested a salary of $8 , 472 and the Finance Committee granted <br /> $6 , 600 . Fred stated that as of 2/27/87 only $3 , 337 . 93 of the <br /> appropriated $5 , 364 had been spent and the year is more than <br /> half over . Finance Committee members agreed to meet with <br /> Conservation on March 11 , at 6 p . m . <br /> Harold Boynton , Treasurer for the Council on Aging joined <br /> the meeting to discuss the Council FY88 budget . The Council <br /> has requested $1 , 995 Capital Improvement to purchase a stove <br /> for the Senior Center . This will only be approved if there <br /> is a 2; override . The Council requested $10 , 526 . 80 in the <br /> Expense Account . Finance Committee members had some concern <br />
