Salary $18 , 086 . 25 Expense 3 , 843 . 00 Chairman Blythe informed the Committee that he had discussed the DPW ' s Workmen Wage Account with the Executive Secretary . The Executive Secretary believes that this account , used to pay overtime has gotten out-of-hand . Ernie had requested $25 , 000 in this account . The Finance Committee voted to go along with the Executive Secretary ' s recommendation of $5 , 000 and another $10 , 000 if there is an override of 22 . The Board Secretary was instructed to inform Ernie of this decision . The Board of Health failed to show for their scheduled meeting to discuss their FY88 budget . It was voted and the Finance Committee members agreed in favor of the Executive Secretary ' s recommendations .
