Finance Committee Minutes <br /> Page .z. <br /> January 19,-1988 <br /> Article 12: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 13: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 14: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Funds for this article wil come from the Chapter 90 Road <br /> Improvement Account. <br /> Article 15: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 16: Finance Committee members expressed concern over the wording <br /> of this article. Selectman Gottlieb noted that this was to <br /> be reworded after he consults with Town Counsel. Chairman <br /> Heller noted the Finance Committee will withold recommendation <br /> till they can review the rewording. <br /> Article 17: The Finance Committee withheld judgement on this article. <br /> Concern was expressed by members about tying up free cash <br /> by reserving funds for appropriation. Vern noted that it may <br /> be wise to specify the FY in which the funds are to be reserved. <br /> Article 18: This article allows the Conservation Commission to make rulings <br /> without going to the DEQE for approval. As Chairman Heller <br /> interpreted this article, you would have to sue the town prior <br /> to review process with DEQE. Finance Committee members Misurella <br /> and Towner expressed their concern about rights to privacy. <br /> Finance Committee will withhold making a recommendation. <br /> Article 19: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Members of the Finance Committee adjourned at 8 p.m. Chairman Heller <br /> will schedule the next meeting of the Committee. <br /> Gail McNabb <br /> Board Secretary <br />
