MA 02649 <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES <br /> Town Hall <br /> January 19, 1988 <br /> Present: Edward Dolan, John Ferriday, Carl Heller, Lucille Misurella and <br /> William Towner <br /> The Finance Committee met in joint session with the Selectmen in the <br /> Selectmen's office at 7 p.m. The purpose of the joint session was to discuss <br /> the Warrant for the Special Town Meeting of February 1, 1988. <br /> The Finance Committee expressed their position on the warrant articles <br /> as follows: <br /> Article 1: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 2: Finance Committee feels that this article should be indefinitely <br /> postponed or rewritten to lock funds into the purchase of a new <br /> fire engine. <br /> Article 3: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 4: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 5: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 6: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 7: The Finance Committee will make recommendation on this article at <br /> Town Meeting. The recommendation hinges on the resolution of the <br /> title to the parcel of land in question. <br /> Article 8: This article may be indefinitely postponed, pending the decision of <br /> of the Space Needs Committee. This article was submitted to allow <br /> for options in case the modular classrooms are needed. The FinCom <br /> will hold off making a recommendation till Town Meeting. <br /> Article 9: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 10: This article is to be indefinitely postponed at the request of <br /> the Water Commissioners . <br /> Article 11: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br />
