Issues the members then <br /> discussed were whether. the fees'could be increased fordump passes, the <br /> request for a part-time clerk -to'work for, .both the Board of Health and <br /> the Building Department., <br /> Denise'mentioned that, they! would have toycreate a position for a part <br /> time secretary at town meeting: <br /> Al responded that according to Marilyn Farren, there was a floating <br /> clerk type position that was previously created. <br /> Ed indicated that there is Yo money available in the floater account. <br /> Al •reaommehded that the money beput into Personnel for a floating clerk,' <br /> not specifically for the. Board of Health of,:the Building Department, <br /> but_to 'float where needed., ' <br /> , Denise .asked•whether the Agent andHealth Agent in the Health Department <br /> • would be`•getting'a cost,of. living increase. <br /> Al responded'.that they have not put in for one. <br /> Tony,}then stated that. all services that are going to be cut will have <br /> valid reasons why, they shouldn't. be cut. ,. It is not town operated. <br /> Ed ,then asked for a dollar figure. <br /> Al stated:that_. DiMaggio runs the Transfer Station and $510,277 is the - <br /> total for the trash. The town, is charged $38..00 per ton, estimated <br /> tonnage' from Otis to SeaMass -is 5,925 for FY9j.; Members then discussed <br /> this issue: ' r <br /> Ed indicated that the.'town'makes a $2200: profit per ton.
