2/9/94 <br /> REVISED UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> The following items were found included in the Minutes going as far <br /> back as November 30th. These were things that were mentioned and/ <br /> or discussed which I thought you may like to review again for your <br /> information only. It may be helpful to keep this sheet with your <br /> files to have on hand if needed. <br /> 1. - request that the Executive Secretary ask for proposals from <br /> outside companies in regard to the work needed on the town hall <br /> floors (John Ferriday) <br /> 2. - not set a precedent with a 2% cost of living increase in <br /> July and again in May (John Ferriday) <br /> 3. - writing to The Enterprise and or Messenger weekly to keep <br /> the taxpayers informed (Deirdre Greelish) <br /> 4. - three recommendations are not needed at Town Meeting, only <br /> a recommendation from the Finance Committee and figure requested by <br /> departments (John Ferriday) <br />• 5. - moving Buildings and Grounds out of the Selectmen's budget <br /> and back into the DPW (John Ferriday and Marcia King) <br /> 6. - $111,000 excess that the Finance Committee wishes to be <br /> placed in reserve to pay debt inside 2 1/2 (Dan Goggin) <br /> 7. - $200,000 into a Capital Replacement Account (Dan Goggin) <br /> 8. - keep Stabilization growing by placing a percentage of <br /> revenues into the Account annually/semi-annually (Finance <br /> Commiittee) <br /> 9. - placing prepaid betterments into a Betterment Reserve <br /> Account. There was a question about an excess amount of $188,000 <br /> which the Executive Secretary claimed went into Stabilization last <br /> year. (Dan Goggin) <br /> 10. - set aside 1% of levy limit (Finance Committee) <br /> 11. - work the 53rd week into the yearly budgeting, so that it <br /> won't continue every 5 years (Finance Committee) <br /> 12. - Mr. Martini is still being paid by the Police Department for <br /> work contracted out (Roger Dunivan) <br />• 13. - $40,100 available revenue to be transferred to a Capital <br /> Replacement Account (Dan Goggin) <br />
