Town of Mashpee <br /> Personnel Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting, March 24, 1975 7:30 p m <br /> PRESENT: R, Graham, W, Clendenin, J, Malone <br /> There was a discussion of Martin Luther King's birthday <br /> as a holiday; this is not a paid holiday according to Chapter <br /> 493, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, dated 6/26/74, <br /> A letter will be sent to Florence Lucas, Treasurer, stating <br /> that Warren Hicks is a Hill-time Firefighter, not a Deputy Chief <br /> as noted on her list of Town employees <br /> Also, a letter will be sent to Fire Chief William Mills <br /> stating that Firefighter Donald Duarte may not use the title of <br /> "Lieutenant" on official Town business , that he holds the position <br /> of full-time Firefighter. The rank of Lieutenant is held by <br /> FF Duarte only on Call Department matters. <br /> A letter will be sent to Chief Bingham, Police Department <br /> `- requesting a meeting with him to discuss salary budget, and other <br /> matters mentioned in his letter of March 12, 1975, <br /> There was further discussion on merit raises for town <br /> employees. <br /> Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at <br /> 10 p.m, <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> jsa <br />
