TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> Minutes of Meeting, November 17, 1975, 7:30p.m. <br /> PRESENT: R.A. Graham, R.A. Maxim, C.A. Brown <br /> There was a discussion of the completed Fire Contract negotiations <br /> and it was determined that the Contract is ready to be signed. The <br /> salary appropriation figures will be given to the Finance Committee for <br /> approval at Special Town Meeting, December 2, 1975, as soon as Mr. Graham <br /> verifies them. <br /> Donald Duarte's anniversary date as a permanent employee with the <br /> Fire Department will be determined by his W-2 records in the Treasurer's <br /> Office. (11/19/75: April-, 1, 1973 was verified by these records). <br /> A letter will be sent to David Aitchison, Patrolman, to advise him <br /> that under the Salary Administration Plan, Section 3, he has the right <br /> to file a written request for a hearing with the Personnel Board and <br /> at that time to present evidence and/or argument on his behalf, or <br /> through counsel. He also has the right to present testimony of wit- <br /> nesses and to offer documentary evidence on his behalf. (Copies to <br /> Selectmen ande Chief). <br /> Fo� �� P KaY4 <br /> Concerning the letter from the Selectmen dated 11/12/75'requesting <br /> • the Personnel Board to fill the Sec/Clerk, Maintenance/Groundsman <br /> positions at the Museum, a letter will be sent to the Governing Board <br /> of the Museum: Personnel Board is interested as to whether or not the <br /> work schedules as prepared by Mrs. Bingham for the mentioned positions <br /> are still in effect or have they, or should they be revised. This <br /> information is necessary before advertising the positions. (Copy <br /> to Selectmen). <br /> Copies of recent correspondence regarding George Costa will be <br /> sent to Dr. Granger, New England Medical Center. <br /> Concerning the Selectmen's memo dated 11/12/75 regarding Board and <br /> Committee secretaries' compensation for evening meetings, this matter <br /> will be further discussed at next meeting. <br /> Mr. Hurlburt, Finance Committee, stopped by and there was a dis- <br /> cussion of various matters on Special Town Meeting Warrant. Finance <br /> Committee will be sent a letter of Approval of Article 13 for unpaid <br /> wages for William Chase, Donald Duarte, and Gregory Willis. These are <br /> due to these employees as a result of contract negotiation withholdings. <br /> An appointment will be made with the Mashpee Police Association for <br /> next Monday evening at -8 p.m. to discuss various matters: <br /> Brenda DeBarros' discretion in handling a voucher for an as yet <br /> unapproved employee will be acknowledged.
