TOWN OF MASHPEE PERSONNEL BOARD Minutes of Meeting, November 17, 1975, 7:30p.m. PRESENT: R.A. Graham, R.A. Maxim, C.A. Brown There was a discussion of the completed Fire Contract negotiations and it was determined that the Contract is ready to be signed. The salary appropriation figures will be given to the Finance Committee for approval at Special Town Meeting, December 2, 1975, as soon as Mr. Graham verifies them. Donald Duarte's anniversary date as a permanent employee with the Fire Department will be determined by his W-2 records in the Treasurer's Office. (11/19/75: April-, 1, 1973 was verified by these records). A letter will be sent to David Aitchison, Patrolman, to advise him that under the Salary Administration Plan, Section 3, he has the right to file a written request for a hearing with the Personnel Board and at that time to present evidence and/or argument on his behalf, or through counsel. He also has the right to present testimony of wit- nesses and to offer documentary evidence on his behalf. (Copies to Selectmen ande Chief). Fo� �� P KaY4 Concerning the letter from the Selectmen dated 11/12/75'requesting • the Personnel Board to fill the Sec/Clerk, Maintenance/Groundsman positions at the Museum, a letter will be sent to the Governing Board of the Museum: Personnel Board is interested as to whether or not the work schedules as prepared by Mrs. Bingham for the mentioned positions are still in effect or have they, or should they be revised. This information is necessary before advertising the positions. (Copy to Selectmen). Copies of recent correspondence regarding George Costa will be sent to Dr. Granger, New England Medical Center. Concerning the Selectmen's memo dated 11/12/75 regarding Board and Committee secretaries' compensation for evening meetings, this matter will be further discussed at next meeting. Mr. Hurlburt, Finance Committee, stopped by and there was a dis- cussion of various matters on Special Town Meeting Warrant. Finance Committee will be sent a letter of Approval of Article 13 for unpaid wages for William Chase, Donald Duarte, and Gregory Willis. These are due to these employees as a result of contract negotiation withholdings. An appointment will be made with the Mashpee Police Association for next Monday evening at -8 p.m. to discuss various matters: Brenda DeBarros' discretion in handling a voucher for an as yet unapproved employee will be acknowledged.
