Brown
I
Concerning the vacancy on the Personnel Board created
by John Malone's resignation, the Board tonight talked with
two proposed appointees, Mr. Ray Long, and Mr. Kenneth Para-
loski. A letter will go to the Selectmen stating that both
men would be a welcome addition to the Board but feel that
Mr. Long should be recommended as first choice in light of
his experience and time of residence in Mashoee.
Vernon Thonss and Fred Peters of the Police Department
attended to discuss vacation allowances and will submit
their figures to the Board for review.
Five applicants for the Secretarial position in the
Highway Department were interviewed. The Board will recommend
in the following order 1) Helen Kondochriste, 2) Denise Tupper,
3) Helen Arnold.
Salary figures for the firefighters were discussed for
• the purpose of explanation at Special Town Meeting.
Having no further business the meeting was adjourned
at 10 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
JSA
• I
