�l <br /> MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> PERSONNEL BARD <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> CJanuary 20, 1975 7:00 p.m. <br /> PRESENT. W. Clendennin, J. Malone, R. Maxim, C. Brown <br /> The meeting was brought to order by William Clendennin, acting <br /> Chairman. <br /> Three members of the Finance Committee (Walter Hurlburt, Tom <br /> Gillis, Bob Borowski) and their secretary, Deirdre Greelish, were present <br /> to discuss salaries and cost of living increases for town employees. <br /> The Personnel Board recommended 6.5% cost of living increase <br /> and will meet asain with Finance Committee following the Taxpayers' Assoc. <br /> meeting on 1/21/75 to attempt to reconcile on a figure acceptable to both <br /> committees. <br /> A letter dated 1/13/75 from school superintendent Anthony D'Antuono <br /> was read requesting that Mrs. Maureen Enos, a teacher, be allowed to par- <br /> ticipate in Blue Cross - Blue Shield plan. A letter of reply will be sent <br /> to Mr. D'Antuono stating that Personnel Board has determined that any em- <br /> ployee who works more than 20 hours per week should be entitled to par- <br /> ticipate in the town health insurance plan, therefore, Mrs. Enos is eligible. <br /> Copy will be sent to Florence Lucas, Treasurer. <br /> A letter will be sent to Mr. George Green, Highway Surveyor, <br /> / • stating that according to SAP there are no vacations carried over from <br /> one year to the next, except under unusual circumstances to be approved <br /> by the Personnel Board. Mr. Green's letter of 1/6/75 listed 1974 vacation <br /> days remaining for Highway Department employees. <br /> A letter was read from Board of Directors, Mashpee Taxpayers' <br /> Association, inviting Personnel Board to their general meeting on 1/21/773 <br /> at 7:30 p.m. at town hall. <br /> Doris Hendricks' written request, approved by Chief Bingham, <br /> to carry over her 6 remaining vacation days from 1974 until 1975 was approved. <br /> She will be notified, with the stipulation that these days must be taken <br /> before 7/1/75• <br /> Mr. Clendennin reported that he discussed with Fire Chief Mills <br /> Donald Duarte's use of 'Lieutenant" on official correspondence and was <br /> assured that thie title would not be used on official town business. <br /> Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br />
