CC: Leonardi, Brown, Peters, Graham, Peralski, Board of Selectmen
August 30, 1976
The meeting of the Personnel Board was called to order at 7:30 with
Chester Brown, John Peters and Frank Leonardi present. Chester Brown
moved that the minutes of August 24th be accepted as corrected.
As a result of a request from Mrs. Kondochriste, the board met wtih
her regarding her request for the $500, additional compensation voted
at the last regular town meeting. A discussion was held and it was
pointed out that this raise was given to full time employees per
Article 8A amended at Town Meeting Warrant of May 3, 1976. Mrs.
K. informed the board that a letter had been written on June 30th
by Mr. Hicks requesting and recommending that she be made a permanent
full time employee. There was no record of ever having received
this letter, and it was suggested that Mr. Green write another
letter of this nature to the Board for its action at that time.
A letter was received from George Green, Superintendent of Streets
regarding Leroy Thaxton pertaining to his retest to work with various
physical restrictions. The letter was noted by the board and filed.
A request was received from the Board of Selectman for a part—time
secretary for the South Cape Beach Advisory Committee. An ad was
placed in the Falmouth Enterprise and the Cape Cod Times advertising
• secretarial positions for the Conservation Department and the South
Cape Advisory Committee.
Personnel data was received from Eastham and Dennis which is being
filed. Letter of acknowledgment were sent to the above and when our
Salary Administration Plan is completed will be forwarded to them.
A certificate of membership was received from the Massachusetts Municipal
Personnel Association, Inc. , noted and filed.
The Salary Administration Plan was discussed and presently is being
worked on. More discussion will ensue on our next meeting of Tues.
Sept. 71.
Meeting was adjourned at 11.00.
Respectfully submitted,
Irene Kosarick
•
