August 24, 1976 <br /> f <br /> Copies: Leonardi, Brown, Peters, Graham, Peralski, Board of Selectman <br /> The Personnel Board meeting was called to order by Frank Leonardi, <br /> Chairman on August 23, 1976 at 7:30 with members Chester Brown, <br /> John Peters and Wilma Graham present. <br /> Chester Brown submitted a letter of resignation effective Sept.30 <br /> because of personal reasons. Resignation was accepted with deep <br /> regrets as he will be truly missed. <br /> The week of Sept. 13 was voted to discuss the Proposed Police Contract. <br /> A draft proposal was presented to the Board by the Police Dept. , <br /> and a meeting was set up for Tues.-Aug. 31-7:30 fordiscussion. <br /> Robert Graham, Robert Maxin and William Clendenin were invited <br /> to attend. <br /> Proposed revision of Salary Administration Plan was discussed <br /> and further discussion will be Monday, August 30. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was: <br /> Voted: that Frank Hicks, Executive Secretary to be asked to acquire <br /> for the personnel board specific duties now being accomplished by <br /> each town employee covered by the Salary Administration Plan. <br /> The personnel board was informed that the Conservation Commission <br /> is in need of a part-time secretary. A letter is being forwareded <br /> to Dorothy Studley requesting more information. <br /> A motion was made to adjourn at 9:10. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Irene Kosarick <br /> Motioned and accepted as stated above. <br /> i <br />
