Minutes of the Personnel Board Meeting of December 6 1976 <br /> The meeting of the Personnel Board was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by <br /> Frank Leonardi, Chairman with members Wilma Graham, Ken Parolski and <br /> John Peters attending. <br /> Minutes of November 29, 1976 accepted as corrected. <br /> The following vacations approved: <br /> Marcia Ducharme 12/8/76 <br /> Bradford R. Fish, Sr. 12/23-12/28/76 <br /> Curtis W. Frye 12/21/76-1/13/77 <br /> George F. Green 11/1-11/12/76 <br /> Wilson H. Landers 11/24-11/28/76 <br /> Richard Oakley 12/9-12/10/76 <br /> The Board met with Joan Muse regarding the position of Town Accountant. <br /> The Board is recommending to the Board of Selectmen her appointment and <br /> her starting salary will be $162.40--Grade 11 Step 5. <br /> Discussion was held with Patricia Green from the Board of Assessors <br /> relative to a recommended change in her job classification as was received <br /> from Mr. DeLory, Chairman of the Board of Assessors. Individual members <br /> of the Board of Assessors were contacted and respectfully requested to <br /> •� meet with us on Tues. evening December 14, 1976. <br /> Communication from George Green noted regarding the equipping of the <br /> Highway Department employees with safety shoes. Recommended that he submit <br /> in his next Highway Department Budget to the Finance Committee if he deems <br /> this a necessity. <br /> Merit increases approved: Helen Kondochriste--Grade 6 Step 3 effective Dec. 17, 1976 <br /> Horace Pocknett Grade 8 Step 7 " Jan. 1, 1977 <br /> Communication from Board of Selectmen noted and filed regarding expediting <br /> a hearing before the County Retirement Appeals Board on George R. Costa. <br /> The Attorney General's office having been contacted by Chief Bingham advised <br /> that the County Retirement Appeals Board will attempt to hear his case inn <br /> the first part of the year (1977)• <br /> Letter sent to Bargaining Committee of the Police Association stating that <br /> In response to letter dated November 22, 1976 from Sgt. Albert Gonsalves <br /> the Personnel Board recommends that the contract be accepted as written- <br /> rotating schedule should stand. <br /> A further addition was made to the proposed Salary Administration Plan. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 11:05 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Irene Kosariek <br />
