Personnel Board Meeting Minutes of January 11, 1977 <br /> The Personnel Board Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by <br /> Frank Leonardi, Chairman with John Peters and Ken Parolski attending. <br /> Minutes of January 3, 1977 accepted as corrected. <br /> The Board met with Chief Bingham discussing the Gonsalves/Kokmeyer <br /> incident.. As a result of the discussion, communications sent to <br /> Sgt. Gonsalves and Patrolman Kokmeyer to meet individually with <br /> the Board on Monday, January 17, 1977. <br /> Communication noted and filed from Board of Selectmen advising us <br /> the Special. Town Meeting was changed to February 9, ?977. . <br /> The following vacation carryover days granted into calendar year <br /> 1977: <br /> Marcia Ducharme 12 days <br /> Marilyn Hendricks 5 days <br /> Varden Kelley 4 days <br /> Each departmental annual budget should incorporate an amount reflective <br /> of 53 weeks salaries to be paid town employees; so advised Board <br /> of Selectmen. <br /> Memo sent to Town Treasurer, Florence Lucas advising her that <br /> Mrs. Yvonne Peters, Curator of the Wampanoag Indian Museum voluntarily <br /> resigned her position effective January 14,. 1977 therefore remove <br /> her name from town employees' list. j <br /> Note sent to Selectman Robert A. Maxim requesting that he meet <br /> with this Board January 17, 1977 at 7:30 P.M. to review the provisions <br /> of the new Police Contract. If <br /> Requested from Board of Selectmen present status of George R. Costa-- <br /> Involuntary Retirement Appeal. <br /> Creating a permanent position in the Highway Department was not <br /> recommended at present and .letter advising Board of Selectmen thus <br /> forwarded. <br /> Voted unanimously that Monday January 24, 1977 be set aside to <br /> complete study on the Salary Administration Plan. <br /> The Board voted to meet on Thursday, January 20, 1977 to interview <br />---- — candidates for the position of Police Officer. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 11:15 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br />
