X <br /> Minutes of the Personnel Board Meeting of January 3, 1977 <br /> The Personnel Board meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by <br /> Frank Leonardi, Chairman with Wilma Graham, John Peters and Ken <br /> • Parolski attending. <br /> Minutes of December 14th and December 20th, 1976 accepted as <br /> corrected. <br /> The Board met with Mrs. Patricia Green from the Assessors ' office <br /> whereby she in writing answered allegations of Mr. Robert R. <br /> DeLory, Chairman of the Board of Assessors in his November 20, <br /> 1976 letter. Communication sent to the Board of Assessors <br /> answering this matter in its entirety and that Mrs. Green can <br /> not be demoted to a grade lower than she presently holds. <br /> Board Member, Mrs. Wilma Graham in respect to Mrs. Patricia <br /> Green declined to participate in the conversation and decision. <br /> Communication sent to the Board of Selectmen expressing the <br /> Board's feeling that at this time the Town's financial position <br /> can not withstand a new employee on its payroll; therefore do <br /> not concur with request of Ronald Pocknett' s, Conservation Officer <br /> to create a new position of Dog Officer. <br /> Letter sent to Board of Selectmen regarding the December 7, 1976 <br /> incident of Ralph Hendricks and Lansing Pocknett advising them <br /> that after much deliberation .and investigation it is this Board' s <br /> feeling that punitive action should be taken by the Board of <br /> Selectmen with each of the named individuals. <br /> Requested Bob Maxim to meet with our Board on Monday evening <br /> January 10, 1977 at 8:00 P.M. to review all the provisions of the <br /> new Police Contract. <br /> Memorandum sent to George Green, Highway Dept. that proposed <br /> Article 15 to appear in warrant of special Town Meeting to be <br /> held January 26, 1977 should be reworded if he desires to change <br /> the part-time secretary dispatcher position to a full-time position. <br /> Requested that Chief Bingham meet with us on Monday, January <br /> 10, 1977 to further discuss the Kokmeyer/Gonsalves incident. <br /> Sent Joan Muse, Town Accountant a letter advising her that this Board <br /> concurs that Barbara Pocknett's estate should be paid an amount <br /> reflective of 19 days accrued vacation leave. <br /> Sent Board of Selectmen two suggestions how Martin Luther King Day <br /> can be observed: <br /> 1. Close all town offices on Friday, January 14, 1977 <br /> 2.
