e _ <br /> Youth Commission <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Youth Commission <br /> Minutes - Revised <br /> April 26, 1994 <br /> Present: Absent: <br /> Josephine Granucci Louis Farwell <br /> Gordon Harris <br /> June Forni <br /> Deborah Dami <br /> Cathy West <br /> Gus Frederick, Leisure Services Director <br /> Maureen Paxton, Leisure Service Advisory Council Chair <br /> The Town Clerk's Office arrived and swore all members to the Youth <br /> Commission with the exception of Mr. Louis Farwell. Gus Frederick then <br /> proceeded to open the meeting at 7:20 p.m.. <br /> Mr. Frederick felt that the first order of business was to elect the officers of <br /> the Commission. Gordon Harris was elected Chairman; June Forni, Vice- <br /> Chairman; Catherine West, Co-Vice-Chairman; and Deborah Dami, Secretary. <br /> Gus Frederick told the Commission_ that Muriel Springer-Smith had <br /> resigned and moved to another state. The Commission accepted the Ms. <br /> Smith's resignation and voted to forward a memo on to the Board of <br /> Selectmen to accept the resignation and advertise the vacancy. <br /> Mission Statement: The Commission discussed the direction that the <br /> Commission would like to follow for the future. The issue was tabled until <br /> the next meeting with all the Commission members coming back with their <br /> mission statement as to the direction the Commission should take. The <br /> Youth Commission can also incorporate the ideas that are developed from <br /> the '"Together We Can" program. <br />
