PETER DINIZIO, MERRY SUE AHLGREN,
PAUL GRIFFIN, STEVE GREELISH. TOM FUDALA, GREG TAYLOR, BILL
JONES, JOE POLITO, LINDA MURTHA.
The meeting was brought to order at 7:02 p.m. The minutes
of June 22, 1993 were accepted. ALL IN FAVOR.
Mr. Dinizio stated that he met with the Selectmen and they
reiterated the charge of the Committee, to come up with one
recommendation on one site for the new high school.
Mr. Mills was not able to attend the meeting, but faxed
information to Mr. Greelish regarding Mr. Mills' conversation with Mr.
Coleman. Mr. Coleman stated that he and Paul O'Leary would work
together at a rate of $40,000. The rate will include the following:
1. Recommendations as to the process and ease for taking
each site.
Mr_ Coleman and Mr_ O'Leary will also require an open line
of communication with the engineers and the title abstract. Mr.
Fudala questioned the $40,000 figure because when-A-Q first talked to Mr.
O'Leary he had said about $30,000. Mr_ Jones pointed out the strict time
frame and the fact that this must be done by the end of September.
A motion was made by Mr. Greelish that the Committee
request from Mr. O'Leary and Mr. Coleman cost estimates that reflect the
appraisal cost for the two parcels that are above and beyond the current
$40,000 figure. Seconded by Ms. Alhgren. Discusion followed on the
