I ** Mr. Griffin made a motion to appoint Steve Greelish and Michael Pare to the computer/technical sub committee to create a mission statement as a first step and coordinate with the school department. Ms. Ahlgren seconded the motion. All members in favor 7-0 . Mr. Greelish stated they will probably explain to the school department what is possible. There is tremendous possibility if a flexible system is designed. Electro-magnetic fields - Mr. Greelish volunteered his company to do a formal presentation on EMF effects for the public. Mr. Griffin stated the Committee owes it to the community to say we looked at it and it is not a problem. ** Mr. Griffin made a motion to appoint Bill Jones and Steve Greelish to the EMF sub committee. Ms. Ahlgren seconded the motion. All members were in favor 7-0. ** Land Purchase - the Committee agreed to wait until an Architect is hired. Mr. Dinizio explained he researched Mr. Jones' question of possibly having a portion of the building open, in time. He spoke with Mr. Franceschi , DRA who said it would be very difficult to do. For a certificate of occupancy, everything in that wing has to be operating 100%. You will have to pay a premium to have a portion of the work done and a huge premium will be paid to accelerate the schedule. Bill Jones suggested the Committee research the facts and get the estimates - cost of options. He suggested having a running cost- value analysis for the entire project. Mr. Dinizio asked that a personal invitation be sent to each Selectperson and the Executive Secretary to attend the interviews.
