These portfolios are maintained right through to grade six. <br /> There will be a parent meeting scheduled at the beginning of each year to discuss assessment that <br /> goes along with our instruction. Parents/guardians will be updated regarding student progress at <br /> parent/teacher conferences in November and at other reasonable times requested by a <br /> parent/guardian. <br /> GRADING (REPORT CARDS) <br /> Report cards are issued three times a year at the preschool through grade two level. The reports <br /> are provided to inform both you and your child about progress being made. They serve as a <br /> formal record and help promote communication between the home and the school. The report <br /> card is sent home with the children and may be kept at home. It does not need to be returned to <br /> school. <br /> Report Cards Issued: <br /> Preschool through Grade Two <br /> December, March,June <br /> Teachers may, at their discretion, send home academic progress reports at any time to indicate <br /> ongoing concerns or exceptional improvement. <br /> PRESCHOOL PROGRESS REPORTS <br /> Work Sampling On-Line is completed three times yearly.
