School Improvement Planning Process Draft Format for Action Planning: How are we going to get there? GOAL 2-ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT Strategic Goal Statement (What is the research base for this strategy?): Students will demonstrate DIBELS improvement to the next benchmark. 50% of students who are at risk will move to the some risk or low risk categories. 25% of students at some risk will move to the low risk category. • Special education and Native Americans sub-groups will show at least a 50% improvement and movement from at risk to some risk or low risk in the DIBELS assessment. For Reading Street assessments, 20% of below level students will demonstrate improvement in unit and end-of- year assessments to achieve on level benchmarks. Native American and special education subgroups will demonstrate a 50% improvement on the DRA assessment with 95% reading accuracy.
