-The property on the corner of Rte 151 and Old Barnstable Rd has a proposed Assisted Living facility <br /> which will need a treatment facility. Tom has spoken with them. <br /> -The Housing Authority property next to the High School wants to add more units and could be tied into <br /> the high school plant. <br /> - Lakeside Trailer Park is an issue. <br /> The key piece for treatment in that area is the high school plant. The only other piece of land in the area <br /> is a piece behind the Shell station. <br /> The Sewer Commission needs to remain in communication with the high school. <br /> New Development requiring wastewater treatment plants: <br /> Proposed assisted living facility on Rte 151, Mashpee Village, 120 unit 40B off of Rte 130 which has its <br /> own plant. <br /> Permitted 40B on Rte 28 on the Cotuit line. Their original plan used a vacuum system but have changed <br /> that. They are trying to tie in the nursing home and Shellback place into their plant. <br /> Smart Growth Working Group: looking at zoning and regulatory responses to sewers. To date, have <br /> been relying on title 5 for growth control. <br /> 3 Year budget proposal <br /> Next year's budget: $40,000, year after$80,000/ <br /> Matt suggests there be an administrative employee in this year's budget. <br /> Tom, in his proposed budget, has a wastewater professional, plus a secretary. <br /> Matt also suggests compensation for Sewer Commission members. <br /> Correspondence <br /> Copy of discharge permit for the high school plant. <br /> Copy of Jim Hank's pilot project power point presentation, <br /> Aug. 21'`meeting: Stearns and Wheler is not ready to present updates at this meeting. Will wait until <br /> closer to that date to decide to hold the meeting or not. <br /> Annual Reorganization <br /> Don is not at this meeting, will wait until there is a full board to reorganize. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 7:4400 p.m. <br />
