Lewis Newell <br /> Lance Lambros Robert Lancaster <br /> William Martiros Carey Murphy <br /> Gus Frederick <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Jeralyn Smith called the meeting to order at 5:10 PM. <br /> APPROVE MINUTES <br /> Michael Cardeiro made a motion to approve the minutes from the committee meeting held <br /> on Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Lance Lambros seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> HUNTING PROPOSAL <br /> Jeri Smith reported that at the last meeting on 7/13/10, for the benefit of those who were <br /> not in attendance, several members from the Falmouth Rod & Gun Club were in <br /> attendance, as well as Jim Rassman from WBNERR. The Rod &Gun Club members <br /> spoke in favor of continuing the hunting privileges. Jim Rassman reported that there were <br /> no problems last year with the hunting and that he is working closely with the Falmouth <br /> Rod & Gun Club on quail restoration. Jim spoke in favor of hunting approval for the <br /> coming year. <br /> Peter Jacobsen, Mashpee resident, introduced himself to the Board, and stated that he <br /> would like to see the hunting approval continued for the coming year. <br /> Frank Connelly made a motion that hunting privileges at the State Park for the 2010-2011 <br /> season be approved. Mike Cardeiro seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br /> approved. <br /> WBNERR REPORT <br /> Jeralyn Smith stated that the most recent WBNERR report is included in the notes from the <br /> 7/13/10 meeting. WBNERR had no additional information to report since that meeting. <br /> COMMITTEE ORGANIZATION <br /> Jeri Smith reported that she has been having severe problems getting a quorum for the <br /> meetings. The problem began when two new members were added to the committee in <br /> 2008, bringing the total number of members on the committee to eleven. In addition to the <br /> • increase in committee members, there have been unavoidable absences by four members <br /> due to health issues. Mike Richardson stated that the committee could go before Town <br /> Meeting and recommend that the committee membership be decreased. However, the <br /> State organized the Committee,.and their requirement is that it must be an eleven-member <br /> 1 <br />
