Explanation: Mashpee's share of the Regional Technical High School budget is $476,130. There are 55 students from Mashpee at the Regional Technical High School. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro. I move Article 11 be voted as printed in the warrant except for the phrase, "or take any other action relating thereto." Motion passes unanimously at 7:51 p.m. Article 12. w To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of $15,000 to the Waterways Improvement Account to be expended under the direction of the Board of Selectmen for the purposes of permits, engineering, dredging, and other waterways improvement projects in Mashpee, or take any other action relating thereto. y Submitted by the Harbormaster u Explanation: Due to normal sedimentation, the previously dredged channels in Waquoit and Popponesset Bays will need dredging soon. To do that, the permits that have expired need to be renewed, and that will require professional engineering services. To see if the Town will vote to provide for design, construction, construction administration and an analysis of remediation alternatives for the closure and capping of the Asher's Path sanitary landfill as required by the Department of Environmental Protection; and for said purpose and expenses incidental and related thereto the Town vote to appropriate and authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Board of Selectmen to borrow $1,263,000 at one time or from time to time pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 8 of the General Laws, or any other enabling Authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor, and further to raise and appropriate $500 to the Debt Issuance Account, and to authorize the Board of Health, acting through its Chairman, be authorized to apply for, accept and expend any state or federal grants or loans which may become available for this purpose, or take any other action relating thereto.
