Article 9 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize a revolving Council on Aging Account through the <br /> Town Accountant's office in accordance with Mass. General Laws, Chapter 44, Section 53E %, <br /> to be expended under the direction of the Council on Aging, in order to place anticipated <br /> revenues collected from program income which shall be used to further the operation of <br /> programs under the Council on Aging, and to establish the limit on expenditures from said <br /> account for Fiscal Year 2002 at$7,500, or to take any other action relating thereto. G <br /> Y . <br /> Submitted by the Council on Aging !' <br /> Explanation: A revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse funds generated <br /> through programs supported by such revolving fund such as senior trips and educational program <br /> staff. Revenues must be used to offset expenses of these programs. <br /> Anticipated Budget: <br /> Revenues $7,500 <br /> Expenditures $7,500 <br /> The Council on Aging will manage this account through its agent. <br /> ti <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by George Green. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to authorize a Council on Aging Revolving Account through the <br /> Town Accountant's office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44, Section r <br /> 53E % to be expended under the direction of the Council on Aging, in order to place revenues <br /> collected from Council on Aging programs, which shall be used for the purpose of conducting <br /> Council on Aging programs, and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account for <br /> fiscal year 2002 at $7,500. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:56 p.m. <br /> Article 10 <br /> is <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create a part-time Clerk position under the Personnel <br /> Administration Plan at Grade IV, Step 1, for the Department of Public Works and further to raise <br /> and appropriate $11,030, with said funds to be distributed as follows: $10,246 to the Department <br /> of Public Works Salary/Wage Account and $784 to the Medicare Account, or take any other <br /> action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Department of Public Works <br /> Explanation: This article will create a regular part-time clerk position to assist the Department <br /> of Public Works in the management of the Solid Waste Transfer Station. <br /> May 2001 Annual Town Meeting 16 <br />
