BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES <br />June 8, 1988 <br />At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 1988 the Board of Appeals held a <br />meeting at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board members present and acting through- <br />out were: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas,-alternates Richard Halpern and <br />Edward Govoni. Mr. Douglas Boyd, Building Inspector was in attendance=. <br />Charles E. Meads, Jr. (owner on record; Patrick W. Crowley, Tr.) <br />(continued from May 25, 1988 meeting) - Requests a Special Permit under <br />section 6, subsections G.5, G.6, & G.9 of the Land Use Requirements for <br />permission to construct and operate a building for the repair and storage <br />of boats and the assembly of components relating to marine vessels in a <br />I-1 Zoning District on property located on lot 25, (map 88, parcel 25), <br />Industrial Drive, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br />Members sitting: William Hanrahan, Richard Halpern and Edward Govoni. <br />Mr. Charles Meads was in attendance representing this application. <br />There were no abutters present. <br />Mr. Boyd stated Mr. Meads is required to present his plans before <br />the Design Review Committee and is also required to apply for an additional <br />Special Permit whereas the applicants proposal for the building is located <br />Y� within the ground water re -charge area. <br />Mr. Hanrahan suggested Mr. Meads withdraw his application without <br />prejudice until such time as Mr. Meads has applied fpr a Special Permit <br />for the ground water re -charge area and has presented his plans before the <br />Design Review Committee. <br />Mr. Meads was in agreeance. <br />Mr. Hanrahan motioned to accept the written request for withdrawal . <br />without prejudice for the Special Permit application, Mr. Halpe.rn'seconded, <br />all agreed. <br />The Tee Realty Trust (owner on record Leo W. Desmores) - Requests <br />a Specia. Permit un er Sections 6.3, subsection D.2 and E.1 of the Land <br />Use Requirements for permission to construct an office/retail complex in <br />a C-2 Zoning District on property located on lot 1 Forestdale Road, Route <br />130, (map 13, parcel 46), Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br />Members sitting: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Richard Halpern. <br />Mr. Charles Jacobs, architect, was in attendance representing this <br />application. Mr. Byrnes, owner of Byrnes Sand & Gravel and abutter, was <br />in attendnace for this hearing. <br />Mr. Jacobs stated the building currently under construction on Route <br />130 and granted a Special Permit by this Board is the same as presented this <br />evening and is approximately 5,300 square feet on each floor and will have, <br />72 parking spaces. <br />
