MINUTES January 25, 1989 - 3 - BOARD OF APPEALS <br />Charles D. Sphor - (Owner of Record: henry N. and <br />Elizabeth B. Spohr. TR) Requests a Special Permit under <br />Section'6.3..I.9 of the Land Use Requirements for permission <br />to construct a board walk in and R-3 zoning district on property <br />located at 29 Hamblin Road (Map 120, Lot 32) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: Richard Halpern, William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver. <br />Mr. Sphor presented the plan. He stated the plans reference <br />the elevated walkway, boardwalk 4' width by 40' length, 3' above <br />the existing growth, to proved access to the beach. He is <br />going to provide access for the fishermen to cross this path. <br />The Shellfish Commission has not seen a set of the plans yet <br />Richard Halpern stated that under the by-law you are <br />required to send sets of the plans to the Shellfish Commission, <br />Conservation Commission and the Waterway Committee and the <br />Harbormaster Committee. These four Departments must have a <br />set of plans so that they have time in order to investigate it <br />and look at and respond with th>tr comments back to the Board <br />of Appeals. <br />William Hanrahan made a motion to continue to 3/8/89. <br />• Cheryl Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br />Uldis Ozolims - (Owner of Record: Thomas F. and Gertrude <br />M. Boyd) -Requests a Special Permit under Section 5.1 of the Zoning <br />By-laws for permission to expand a non -conforming structure in an <br />R-3 zoning district on property located at 23 Jeep Place (Map 118, <br />Lot 11) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: Richard Halpern, Cheryl Hawver, William Hanrahan. <br />Craig Arnold representing Mr. Ozolims. The owners presently <br />have a 3 bedroom ranch. They have done some external remodeling <br />and brought the outside up to date. The lot is an undersized <br />lot approximately 500 square feet. They want to update the <br />septic system into one pool at the moment. There is no change <br />in the footprint of the house. They want to increase the <br />roof pitch . The house has been there approximately 25 years. <br />The shed was done approxima-.t3Ay 1'd years ago. <br />Abutter Eleanor Hatchett was concerned about the update of <br />the septic system. She had no objections in going up. <br />Mr. Arnold stated that they were deleting one bedroom and <br />�; adding one bedroom up. <br />
