Board of Appeals Minutes - January 24, 1996 2 <br /> Andrew and Gloria A. Kariotis - Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to extend an existing pier with a new 55 foot walkway and <br /> relocated ramp and float on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 67 Tide Run <br /> (Map 125, Block 25 1) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan, K. Marsters <br /> Engineer M. Grotzke represented the applicant and explained that an existing dock has <br /> been rebuilt and the design revised to meet the requirements of Conservation, Shellfish and <br /> Harbormaster. R. York, Shellfish Constable, stated that the design improves the habitat <br /> for the shellfish in the area. Mr. Marsters moved to grant the Variance to allow 96' since <br /> the design has been approved by Conservation and is not a detriment to the public good. <br /> Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. Mr. Govoni moved to grant the Special Permit and <br /> that the proposed dock will be accessory to an existing house. Mr. Regan seconded. All <br /> agreed. <br /> Michael J. and Andrea L. Yanoff-Request a Variance from Section 174-25.I.9 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to exceed the 70 foot length limit for docks and <br /> boardwalks on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 18 Wheelhouse Lane (Map <br /> 120, Block 158)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Michael J. and Andrea L. Yanoff-Request a Special Permit under Section 174-2519 of <br /> the Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a 220 foot boardwalk and 99 foot dock, <br /> ramp and float on Great River on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 18 <br /> Wheelhouse Lane(Map 120,Block 158)Mashpee, MA. The proposed dock will be <br /> shared with the adjacent lot at 24 Wheelhouse Lane (Map 120, Block 16 1)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan,K. Marsters <br /> Engineer M. Grotzke represented the applicant. Mr. Govoni asked when an application <br /> had been filed with the Conservation Commission . Mr. Grotzke said he had not filed with <br /> Conservation. Mr. Govoni read the By-law requiring that plans be submitted to <br /> Conservation, Harbormaster and Shellfish at the same time an application is made to the <br /> Board of Appeals. Mr. Govoni said no one had seen the revised plans and nothing has <br /> been filed with the Conservation Commission. Mr. Grotzke said he had reviewed plans <br /> with the Shellfish Constable. <br /> Mr. Govoni moved to continue the hearing to February 28, 1996 pending review by the <br /> Conservation Commission. Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. <br /> Doe Family Trust H/99 West Inc. -Request a Variance from Sections 174-38 and 174- <br /> 40 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the size and dimension of parking spaces <br /> and the accessway requirements in a C-1 zoning district on property located at 8 Ryan's <br /> Way(Map 67, Block 75)Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Gary T. Melia). <br />
