Town of Mashpee <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> Minutes <br /> February 28, 1996 <br /> The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, February 28, 1996 at 7:30 <br /> P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board members present and acting throughout were: <br /> Edward M. Govoni, Chairman, James E. Regan III, Clerk and Associate Members Cheryl <br /> A. Hawver and Kenneth E. Marsters. Board members absent were John J. Friel and <br /> Robert G. Nelson. Building Inspector William F. Hauck was in attendance. <br /> Michael J. and Andrea L. Yanoff-Request a Variance from Section 174-25.I.9 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to exceed the 70 foot length limit for docks and <br /> boardwalks on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 18 Wheelhouse Lane(Map <br /> 120, Block 158)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Michael J. and Andrea L. Yanoff- Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of <br /> the Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a 220 foot boardwalk and 99 foot dock, <br /> ramp and float on Great River on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 18 <br /> Wheelhouse Lane(Map 120,Block 158)Mashpee, MA. The proposed dock will be <br /> shared with the adjacent lot at 24 Wheelhouse Lane (Map 120, Block 161)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan, K. Marsters <br /> Mr. Govoni stated that the applicant has been out of town and was unable to file with <br /> Conservation. Mr. Govoni moved to continue the hearing on the Special Permit and <br /> extend the Variance to April 10, 1996, Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. <br /> Marie D. Kent -Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to demolish an existing dwelling and rebuild a new dwelling in an R-3 <br /> zoning district on property located at 38 Kim Path (Map 117, Block 92)Mashpee, MA <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan, K. Marsters <br /> Engineer David Sanicki represented the applicant and informed the Board that the <br /> existing house is set on blocks and will be replaced with a new permanent structure and a <br /> new septic system. He explained that the planned construction meets zoning requirements <br /> and Mr. Govoni noted that the new structure was more in compliance. No comments <br /> were received from abutters. <br /> Mr. Marsters moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />
