Section 3.2.2 Requests for reimbursement shall be made on forms approved by <br /> the Board of Selectmen, and shall include at a minimum the <br /> following: date of travel, destination, purpose, odometer <br /> readings at start and end of trips, and signature of traveler. <br /> The Board of Selectmen is authorized to prepare a standard mileage <br /> schedule between the Town and other communities which shall be <br /> the basis of reimbursement for travel to points outside of the <br /> Town of Mashpee. Amended at Special Town Meeting, November 9, 1981 <br /> and approved by Attorney General February 16, 1982) . <br /> Section 3. 2 . 3 Transportation of Labor. Where it is necessary to <br /> transport by automobile or truck any laborers employed <br /> by any department of the town : <br /> a. The expense incurred shall be charged in as <br /> "Transportation of Labor. " <br /> b. All charges for transportation of labor shall <br /> be made on the basis of so much per hour or <br /> per day for the actual time consumed by the <br /> conveyance in transporting the labor . <br /> C. All expenses for transportation of labor shall <br /> be charged against the appropriation for that <br /> departmental work 'on which the transported <br /> laborers are employed. <br /> Section 3. 2 . 4 Trucking. Any automobile or truck employed by the <br /> town and carrying one or more laborers whose work <br /> is connected directly with the operation of the truck, <br /> or any apparatus or materials carried by the truck, <br /> shall be charged under "trucking" at so much per hour <br /> or day, and shall not be entitled to any additional <br /> charges for transportation of labor or materials. <br /> Section 3. 2 . 5 ' Retroactive Reimbursement . Any change in the rate <br /> of compensation for travel allowance shall be effective <br /> immediately upon its adoption by vote of town meeting <br /> subject to approval as required by the General Laws, <br /> and any payment increase hereunder shall not be paid <br /> until said approval is obtained and published. <br /> Article 3. 3 Annual Town Audit. <br /> Section 3. 3. 1 Audit by State. There shall be an annual audit of <br /> x the Town ' s Accounts under the supervision of the <br /> Director of Accounts of the Department of Revenue, <br /> z in accordance with the provisions of Section 35, <br /> i <br /> Chapter 44 , General Laws . <br /> Section 3. 3 . 2 Audit by Town. In the event the Department of Revenue <br />' is unable to perform an annual audit of the Town ' s <br /> Accounts , the Selectmen may engage a Certified PubL;ic <br /> Accountant to perform a town audit . <br />'Article 3. 4 Annual Inventory. All department heads of the Town <br /> shall prepare and submit to the Selectmen between <br /> May 15 and no later than' June 30 of each year, a <br /> complete inventory of all town-owned property for <br /> which their department is responsible. <br /> 16 - <br /> f <br />
