j; <br /> able unit for one family with its own cooking and <br /> food storage equipment -and its own bathing and <br /> toilet facilities and its own living, sleeping, and <br /> eating areas wholly within such room or suite of <br /> rooms. <br /> b) Apartment building: a building containing four or <br /> more apartment units. <br /> C) Garden apartment: an apartment building contain- <br /> ing four or more apartment units with no portion <br /> of the building below the story or above the <br /> second story used for dwelling purposes. <br /> d) Town House apartment: a group of attached one- <br /> family dwellings. <br /> I <br /> 2.03 Build <br /> The word "build" shall include the words "erect", "con- <br /> struct", "alter", "enlarge", "move", "modify", "exca- <br /> vate", "fill', and any others of like significance. <br /> 2.04 Building <br /> The word "building" shall include the word "structure" <br /> unless the context unequivocally indicates .otherwise. <br /> "Building" shall also mean any three dimensional en- <br /> closure by any building materials of any space for use <br /> or occupancy, temporary or permanent, and shall in- <br /> clude foundations in the ground, also all parts of any <br /> kind of structure above ground except fences and field <br /> or garden walls or embankment retaining walls. <br /> 2.05 Dwelling <br /> a) Dwelling Attached: A building designed for or <br /> occupied as a residence and separated from another <br /> attached dwelling on one or both sides by a vertical <br /> party wall. <br /> b) Dwelling Detached: A building designed for or <br /> occupied as a residence and separated from any <br /> other building except accessory buildings by side <br /> yards. <br /> C) Unit: (Same as Apartment Unit) <br /> d) One Family Dwelling: A building designed for or <br /> occupied by one family. <br /> e) Two Family Dwelling: A free standing building, <br /> designed or intended exclusively for residential use <br /> containing two dwelling units. (This can be Lwo <br /> attached dwelling units). <br /> 4 <br />
