BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, JANUARY 22, 1990 <br /> PAGE 5. <br /> 5 ) Brewster Road - The Board reviewed a letter from Mr. Trask who <br /> advised the Board of a road condition that exists at the <br /> intersection of Brewster Road and Harwich Road . <br /> Selectman Jacobson asked the Board to defer action for one week to <br /> allow Mr. Virgilio time to submit his recommendation. <br /> Board deferred action for one week . <br /> 6 ) Town Clerk New Town By-Laws - The Town Clerk asked the Board <br /> for guidance as to how the new Town By-Laws were going to be <br /> handled relative to Town Meeting as well as the by-law which reads <br /> only articles for operating budget for the annual town meeting in <br /> May. <br /> Selectmen agreed that Mr. Harrington, Jane .Labute and Town Counsel <br /> should meet to work this out . <br /> 7 ) Secretary of State Retention of Minutes - The Town Clerk had <br /> several questions relative to the above referenced matter. <br /> Mr. Harrington advised that a gentleman from the State would be <br /> coming down to go over everything . <br /> 8 ) One Day Permit - Selectmen reviewed the application of Mashpee <br /> Wampanoag Rod & Gun Club, Inc . for a one day permit to serve <br /> alcoholic beverages on February 24, 1990 at a dinner dance . <br /> Selectman Carter moved to grant the one day permit . Selectman <br /> Hanson seconded the motion. Selectmen Gottlieb and Jacobson were <br /> also in favor.
