BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, MARCH 12, 1990 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> APPOINTMENTS 8 HEARINGS <br /> ##1 (Cont. ) <br /> Corners (Mashpee Rotary) then, East on Route 28 (Falmouth <br /> Road) to the Barnstable town line. <br /> Precinct 4 - approximately 1628 people, from the Barnstable <br /> town line, West on Route 28 (Falmouth Road) to Pine Tree <br /> Corners (Mashpee Rotary) , thence, South on Great Neck Road <br /> South to Wading Place Road, then Easton Wading Place Road <br /> to the Atlantic Ocean. <br /> Mrs. Labute asked that the Board review the redistricting <br /> plan and to vote on the matter by June 1 , 1990. Mr. Hanson <br /> asked that Mrs . Labute provide a dollar amount involved in <br /> the redistricting plan. The Board agreed to take the <br /> matter under advisement so that the full Board may review <br /> the plan. Mr. Carter was not present for the discussion. <br /> 2 . BUDGET DISCUSSION - The Board discussed issues relating to. <br /> the FY-91 budget and options available. Mr. Harrington ' <br /> recommended that the Board consider a series of articles <br /> for the Annual Town Meeting to exclude the remaining debt <br /> payment and then to hold an election in May for voter <br /> approval to move the said debt outside proposition 2 1/2. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that this would free up approximately <br /> $600,000 in FY 91 . <br /> Chief Ridgeway and Ernie Virgilio both stated that they <br /> agreed with Mr. Harrington's recommendation. <br /> Mr. Lawrence stated that the articles should be placed on <br /> the warrant for future discussion. Mrs . Jacobson directed <br /> Mr. Harrington to put the questions together and come back <br /> to the Board in one week. <br />
