BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, MARCH 12, 1990 <br /> PAGE FOUR <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 3 . JOB DESCRIPTION - WATERWAYS COORDINATOR - Mr. Harrington <br /> presented a draft job description of the proposed <br /> Waterways Coordinator position. The Board agreed to <br /> postpone discussion until next week' s meeting for <br /> attendance of the full Board and for comments of the <br /> Personnel Board. <br /> 4. . COMMUNICATION FROM SENATOR WILLIAM B. GOLDEN - Mr. Lawrence <br /> moved to place the following questions on the Town ballot <br /> this spring as requested by Senator Golden: 1 . Do you <br /> oppose further cuts or withholding of local aid to Mashpee? <br /> 2. Should the State share 40% of its revenue from growth <br /> taxes ( income, state and corporate income) with towns and <br /> cities on a continuing and consistent basis to help support <br /> basic local services such as public safety, public health <br /> and education? Mr. Hanson seconded the motion and Mrs. <br /> Jacobson was in favor. <br /> OTHER <br /> 1 . PROBATIONARY PERIOD. - Mr. Lawrence moved to waive the <br /> probationary period of Leslie Willis for benefits only as <br /> per the request of Diane Rommelmeyer. Mr. Hanson seconded <br /> the motion and Mrs. Jacobson was in favor. <br /> 2. MEETING SCHEDULE - Mrs . Jacobson requested that the meeting <br /> schedules prepared in the past, be included in the Board's <br /> packages. <br /> 3 . QUARTERLY REPORTS - Mr- . Carter- asked about the status of <br /> department head quarterly reports. Mr . Harrington <br /> indicated that he has requested monthly reports from each <br /> department head beginning in March. <br />
