BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, MARCH 19, 1990 <br /> PAGE FOUR <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 2 . STEP INCREASE - Mr. Carter moved to grant a step increase <br /> to Firefighter-P Glenn Milliken to be effective March 17, <br /> 1990. Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. Mr. Hanson was not present for the vote. <br /> 3. STEP INCREASE - Mr. Lawrence moved to grant a step increase <br /> for Firefighter Steven Henderson to be effective February <br /> 27, 1990. Mr . Carter seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. Mr. Hanson was not present for the vote. <br /> 4. CAPE COD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE - The Board noted an <br /> invitation from the Chamber of Commerce to a breakfast to <br /> be held on April 6, 1990. Mr. Hanson was not present. <br /> 5. ABATEMENT OF AMBULANCE BILL - Mr. Lawrence moved to abate <br /> an ambulance bill for Michael J. Sexton who was injured on <br /> duty 12/2/89. Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. Mr. Hanson was not present for the vote. <br /> 6. COMMUNICATION - MASSACHUSETTS PACKAGE STORE ASSOCIATION - <br /> The Board received a communication from the Massachusetts <br /> Package Store Association informing them of seminars held <br /> to train package store owners and their employees methods <br /> of observation and detection used to avoid sales to <br /> intoxicated persons and minors. All agreed that this <br /> should become part of the local regulations and directed <br /> Mr. Harrington to look into the matter when time permits. <br /> Mr. Hanson was not present for the discussion. <br /> 7. HIGH WOOD WATER COMPANY, INC. - The Board received <br /> notification from High Wood Water Company stating that they <br /> will be requesting a 64% increase in their rates from the <br /> Department of Public Utilities. Mr . Hansen was not <br /> present. <br />
