MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> APRIL 25, 1995 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 7:OOPM <br /> Finance Committee members present: Dan Goggin, Chairman; Marcia <br /> King, Vice Chairman; Sid Golub; Denise Sullivan and Tony Gallo. <br /> Juan Bacigalupi was unable to attend. <br /> Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting is for <br /> the transcription of the Minutes only. Once the Minutes are <br /> approved, the tapes will be reused. <br /> Minutes <br /> Marcia King Motioned to accept the Minutes of April 11 , 1995 as <br /> written. Sid Golub seconded the Motion and members approved 4-0, <br /> Dan Goggin abstaining. The Finance Committee agreed to wait until <br /> the next scheduled meeting to vote on the Minutes of March 21, 1995 <br /> and April 4 , 1995. <br /> Ms. King mentioned that she has requested copies of the Personnel <br /> reclassification. <br /> Correspondence <br /> There was a memo from William Hauck, Chairman of the Capital <br /> Improvement Committee, thanking the people who took the time to <br /> attend the April 18th CIP meeting. Mr. Hauck also mentioned that <br /> he felt it would be helpful to have the CIP, Finance Committee and <br /> Board of Selectmen meet at intervals after Town Meeting. <br /> There was a memo to Diane Rommelmeyer, Town Accountant, from <br /> Marilyn Farren, Personnel Administrator, regarding unfunded <br /> liability for employee benefits. The total unfunded liability sick <br /> leave is $359,641. 17. The total unfunded liability vacation leave <br /> is $327,216.53 . <br /> There was a letter from Juan Bacigalupi, Producer and Host of "Our <br /> Town" , inviting candidates to a candidate's night on Wednesday, May <br /> 3rd. <br /> The last piece of correspondence was from Robert Tippo, Principal <br /> Mashpee Middle School, to the Finance Committee regarding a "Read <br /> Aloud Week" being sponsored by the Middle School. The letter asks <br /> for volunteers to read aloud for 15 to 30 minutes during the week <br /> of May 22nd through May 26th. <br /> Mr. Goggin informed the Committee that there was $88,000 left in <br /> the Reserve Fund and $427 left in their Expense Account. This <br /> latest amount did not include the $5,000 transferred to the Fire <br /> Department's Salary and Wage Account. <br />
